Walkthrough The unmistakable feeling of security and elegance is a hallmark of the Nauticat 37 design. The smartly laid floor plan is centered around the pilothouse which serves as both the main living space and well protected inside helm station to starboard. Large safety glass windows framed in aluminum alloy provide an unobstructed view and allow natural light to fill the interior. Ventilation is excellent given the numerous opening portlights, overhead hatches, and smoked Lexan main hatch leading to the cockpit. Privacy curtains provide shade and shelter from the sun while the u-shaped settee to port offers seating for six around the custom teak table with compass rose inlay. Finished exquisitely in satin varnished teak and with easy to remove beige carpet, the pilothouse offers a cozy and welcoming escape from the hot summer sun or foul weather. |

Master Stateroom Equally as impressive as the pilothouse is the large owner master cabin aft of the pilothouse and down two stairs. A centerline queen bed with Aeroflex mattress has lighted wardrobes to either side. Drawers are located under the berth and wrap around shelving and lockers with searails provide additional storage. Reading lights are at the head of the bed and overhead lighting is situated on the ceiling. To starboard is a settee and to port is a vanity desk with mirror. Six portlights, four of which open provide natural light and excellent ventilation.

Master Stateroom Head A very desirable spacious ensuite head not commonly found on other 37 foot yachts has pressurized hot/cold water, sink with hand shower faucet, and a light colored laminate electric head with deck pump out. Coarian countertops, a custom mirror, teak hardwood trim, and white mosaic tiling on the floor add a very attractive touch. Inside the door and on the ceiling there is an aluminum curtain rail. Ventilation is superb with an opening portlight.

Forward Cabin Full beam forward cabin that converts to a double with removable filler cushion and a highly desirable raised single bunk. There’s a large full length wardrobe with automatic light and shelves in the rear, outboard lockers, and extra storage beneath the berth.
|
Second Guest Cabin The second guest cabin is located to port and offers a wide berth with storage behind, outboard shelving, and a full size hanging locker with automatic light.
|
Forward Head Nauticat has made outstanding use of every inch of space with the exceptionally sized day head located to port and adjacent to the forward guest cabin. With pressurized hot/cold water, sink with hand shower faucet, well positioned stainless steel grab rail, Corian countertops with storage beneath, enclosed and open cabinets, and a light colored laminate electric head with deck pump-out. Excellent ventilation and lighting is provided by an overhead hatch and Dorade vent.
|
Galley Forward of the pilothouse and down two stairs is the passageway galley. The double basin stainless steel sink has both fresh and seawater faucets and hot water provided by the Isotemp 40L water heater. Eno two burner stove with oven and flame guards is connected with solid copper pipe and flexible hose to the exterior propane tanks. Separate top loading electric refrigerator and freezers are cooled by independent Isotherm controls powered by 12V compressors. Storage is abundant with numerous cabinets, lockers, and drawers below and outboard of the counter space. Ventilation is excellent with two opening hatches and a Dorade vent overhead.

Hull & Deck Very high quality construction and uncompromising safety are at the forefront of the Nauticat 37??s design. The hull was crafted with solid hand laid laminated fiberglass construction above and below the waterline. Bulkheads are securely bonded to the hull and deck with reinforced tabbing. The external lead ballast is secured to the hull with acid proof stainless steel bolts tied into the full length grid bottom framework of the boat. The deck is also solid hand laid fiberglass and has anti-slip on all surfaces, wide side decks with stainless steel hand rails that are easily traversed in a seaway, teak guard rails atop stainless steel stanchions with double lifelines, and a very well protected cockpit. All control lines are led aft reducing the need to go forward while underway. The teak cockpit floor and seats with padded backrests are in top condition. |
