MOVINGON is a well-proportioned versatile sailboat, capable of extended offshore passages and a great weekender. The 393 has a more modern look, with relatively high freeboard. Her overall looks are softened by the sleek angle of the coachroof and additional styling features.
The 393 hull is solid fiberglass with a structural inner grid and fiberglass floors. The deck is balsa cored. Built with a complete deck liner, or head liner, which encapsulates the upper sections of the bulkheads. Liners have many production advantages and offer easy maintenance and good insulation. The keel is externally fastened with stainless bolts, and the mast is deck- stepped with a compression post. The deck has a beautiful nonskid pattern and the cockpit is comfortable and well laid out. Visibility is good from the cockpit and includes a large drop leaf table for entertaining while at anchor. The helm seat lowers to allow access to the transom step.
The 393 is an easy boat to sail shorthanded. All lines are led aft making sail handling safe and easy for a cruising couple. The anodized aluminum mast has double,swept-back spreaders and twin backstays. Double lifelines and stanchions are well supported. The Beneteau 393 is a great yacht for a cruising couple or a small family.
