This Listing Broker just spent the day aboard Kestrel, and knowing Valiants extremely well, having owned TWO personally, Kestrel is Turn-Key and Offshore Ready, able to embark to anywhere today. She is truly a very special offering.

They say that good things come in small packages. In this case it's definitely true. What's almost as good a Valiant 50, a Valiant 42.  What's almost as good as a Valiant 42, you guessed it, a Valiant 39. Size doesn't matter, its quality that does.

Here is your opportunity to own a turn-key, much loved, properly equipped and cared for; Valiant 39. She has many big ticket items replaced; like chainplates, rigging, sails, etc. She is a Hawaii Veteran and is definitely ready to do all over again and again. She is the last Valiant 39 built, and is in stellar condition. This is a very are offering and an incredible opportunity. Don't wait, she'll soon be sold.

The Valiant 39 has once again set a pace that only others can follow. With its newly expanded sail plan featuring a double spreader rig mast and anchor-bowsprit, performance and balance has never been better.

Valiant's new custom fabricated mast rig with anchor/bowsprit provide a maximum sail area and excellent helm balance. All Valiant spars are through-deck stepped to insure maximum strength. These combinations give each Valiant plenty of sail power while keeping things simple enough for a couple to manage and maintain, even under strenuous conditions. And a full complement of oversize self-tailing offshore winches make it possible for even the smallest member of the crew to trim sails.

The Valiant 39 incorporates the same proven offshore hull form with a structural skeg mounted rudder and a state of the art keelfoil. This powerful combination insures excellent control and tracking on and off the wind. And the external, bolted on lead ballast provides excellent defense against accidental grounding, while it also allows for a low stabilizing center of gravity which optimizes performance and safety.
