Deck and Topside

"Best Day Ever" is a center cockpit design with an extended sugar scoop stern. A beautiful stainless steel bow pulpit and double roller for the anchor windlass are forward. The anchor windlass is mounted on deck just ahead of the stay sail. The deck is newly painted and shines as if new. Stepping up to the cabin top, there is an opening hatch into the forward stateroom, a dorade into the forward head along with mast pulpits.  The varnish and stainless shine. The forward cabin top also contains two winches and handholds. A new canvas dodger with a 7/8" stainless steel frame covers the cockpit companionway. A new canvas bimini extends from over the dodger to the aft coaming of the cockpit. The cockpit seats are overlaid with teak and there are 6 stainless steel seat backs that fold up to provide better support than the lower coaming.  The cockpit also contains a teak grate, sailing instrumentation and binnacle/steering station. Two primary winches are located outboard of the coaming. Electrical inlets are located on the outer coaming to port. Aft of the cockpit is the Mainsheet traveler, two winches, a Dorade into the aft head and an opening hatch over the aft berth. There are three lazarettes, and a combination Solar Panel/Davit SS welded tube arch with mechanical lifting and storage for the dinghy.  There are two seats built into the one-inch stern rails, which also support the Double Stern Lifelines. A 6-person Canister type Life Raft is mounted in a vertical rack at the starboard stern rail. The transom has steps to the waterline. Jerry Jugs are contained in Stainless Steel Racks built into the Stern Rails.

Arrangements Below

All interior cushions have been recently upgraded.  The dinette has an additional leaf to accommodate 6 for dinner. Additionally, a curved seat stores under the table and is available for larger crowds. Plenty of storage and bookshelves outboard of the dinette. The navigation station and electronics are portside. The galley is a passage way galley with a single stainless sink inboard under  the companionway. All laminated surfaces have been updated with new laminate. There is passageway port and starboard to the aft stateroom providing excellent access to the engine room and all systems. The aft master berth is a centerline queen with walk around space, hanging lockers and drawers along with cabinet and shelves. A storage cabinet has a floor to ceiling mirror. The head and shower stall are enclosed with doors to master stateroom and the salon area. Behind the head is a wet locker to the left a linen closet. Bilge access is below the teak and holly sole offering good access to much of the hull and thru hull fittings. The interior has a beautiful teak satin finish throughout. The cabin sole is teak and holly that has recently been re-varnished. Headroom is 6'3". There are 2 large hatches with screens, 3 smaller hatches, and 8 opening port lights plus 4 long fixed windows. There are five steps down from the cockpit to the main salon. Headliners are fabric over hard panels with battens running fore and aft.

Lots of light with large windows and opening hatches.  Hand holds to navigate around the salon while in a seaway are plentiful. A beautiful bar cabinet is located forward in the salon with hand painted tile lending a very custom touch. The large flat screen TV is located outboard to port.  To starboard is a large settee that doubles as a berth when needed.  The navigation station is located aft to port with a full array of electronics and storage.  Passage way to the aft cabin is available both port and starboard.  The passageway galley is located to starboard.
