THE SELLER'S NEW BOAT HAS ARRIVED - HIS MOTIVATION TO SELL IS HIGH!
OFFERS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!
SECOND CHANCE is an exceptionally well cared for and desirably equipped Hylas 46 that has just come on the market. She is in excellent condition with low machinery hours, a newer 6kW Northern Lights generator, configured for push-button sailing, and includes a comprehensive list of upgrades. The 46 is one of Frers’ most successful designs built by one of the world’s highest quality semi-custom yards, Queen Long Marine.
SECOND CHANCE is set up to sail shorthanded with Schaefer in-boom electric furling mainsail, Furlex electric furling genoa, four electric winches in the cockpit, and Side Power bow thruster. Her luxury options include 2 zone reverse cycle A/C and heating, state of the art electronics including upgraded touchscreen Simrad chartplotters, a removable Selden bow sprit and Dyneema inner stay, pushpit stainless-steel railings extended to mid-ship, combination washer and dryer, recently installed 12VDC watermaker, Mamba solid linkage steering, and an extensive sail inventory.
As hull number 68, SECOND CHANCE is one of the last 46’s constructed. A one owner boat, she was commissioned by a knowledgeable sailor and designed with the most desirable interior refinements offered by Hylas Yachts. Her exceptional condition is evident in the fact she was used only 4 months out of the year and often kept in a climate-controlled environment with the rig down and annually inspected in the off season. She is available fully commissioned and ready to cruise in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Quote from “Sailing a Serious Ocean” by John Kretschmer:
“A capable and very livable center-cockpit, it hits the target for what most cruisers are looking for today. Like all Hylas models the 46 is built like a rock with first-rate gear. The design is definitely more modern than that of other Hylases on the list, the 44 and 40. I have plenty of offshore miles on this model and wouldn’t hesitate to take it anywhere.”
