The Hylas 46 is a beautiful center cockpit layout with that wonderful aft owner’s private stateroom and ensuite head and shower and an incredible custom forward cabin with a beautiful very comfortable Pullman berth to port.

When you enter the companionway from the center cockpit, you will be delighted with the spacious, light feeling with ample 6’5” headroom in the salon. The cabin house windows including the forward skylights provide for a wonderful sensation of space. At the same time the beautiful teak joinery and the teak and holly sole create a warm ambiance of comfort and perhaps even decadence. Hylas elegance abounds with the unique curves and sumptuous furniture with the curved dinette to port with the slide out seat beach amidships. The table folds to a smaller table with leaves that fold out to seat six at a sumptuous inlaid dining table. The settee berth to starboard is exceedingly comfortable with custom cabinetry outboard. The handcrafted dinette table is a work of art. The teak and holly cabin sole is varnished to high gloss and has been protected with carpets that compliment the tasteful custom upholstery. The quality and luxury is apparent and you will appreciate the attractive appointments from the high quality custom fixtures, faucets, door handles and custom LED lighting complete and reading lamps. The creature comforts are there to include the CruiseAir AC system with two compressors and the entertainment system with Flat Screen, DVD, and stereo sound system as well as wifi throughout the boat! Oh and the ice maker!!

The navigation station faces outboard on the port side just aft of the salon is with all the electronics beautifully mounted. The sit down navigation station is also the ships office hosting the electrical breaker panel and all the navigation and communication systems aboard.

Of course you want to hear about the owner’s big aft cabin with the centerline queen sized island berth! It is a most sought after design feature for good reason. The aft cabin is private with its own ensuite bathroom complete with a stall shower. There is wonderful cabinetry with plenty of storage for his and her clothing, shoes, and everything. The seven and a half foot long berth has a custom Latex bi-fold  mattress. The ensuite head and shower are located on the port side of the cabin. Unlike some Hylas 46, there is no walk through on the port side, which does make it truly private. The aft cabin is accessed through the walkthrough galley on the starboard side. It is a lovely large galley with a great deal of counter space and storage. The refrigerator and the freezer are separate boxes each with temperature control and both have front and top opening. The propane stove has a cover with a storage space behind for the cover. This galley layout is desirable offshore and at anchor. It offers safety and security in a seaway and the inboard sink is always going to drain properly. At anchor the incredible counter space is welcome and the workspace and refrigeration systems are perfect.

The guest quarters up forward have a beautiful Pullman berth with drawers and storage below as well as storage lockers all along the starboard side. The guest head is forward with a large space for storage as well.
