About Lola

LOLA is a beautiful 50-foot schooner designed by Frans Maas and built in Nice, France in 1989, with Sparkman & Stephens inspired lines. Built of solid fiberglass nearly an inch thick below the waterline, she is a proven offshore passage maker. Her present owners sailed the Mediterranean for several years before crossing to the Caribbean and finally settling in the San Blas Islands of Panama. Fully equipped and ready to sail, this semi-full keel vessel in a steady and seaworthy cruiser priced to sell.

LOLA's below deck joiner work is beautiful crafted of African sapele wood. Her sole is teak throughout. She has four cabins with berths for as many as nine sailors. From bow to stern: there is a large cabin in the bow with a double berth and a separate berth. Moving aft, there is a private cabin with a double berth to port and another with two single berths to starboard. The main salon features large U-shaped seating with ample storage beneath around a varnished wooden dining table - which can be lowered for an additional double berth. All the way aft is there is a private cabin with two single berths and separate access to deck.


LOLA's galley features a two-burner stove with a built-in oven, double stainless sinks, And Frigomatic refrigeration new in 2011.

LOLA is powered by a 2000 Sole/Mitsubishi Mini 62 CV 4-cylinder in-line diesel that was  inspected and refitted in 2016 with the following upgrades:

- new bearings and seals

- all salt and fresh water circuits are new

- heat exchanger cleaning

- new temperature and oil pressure alarms

- new fuel circuit (new filters, pipes, etc.)

- alternator, start engine and fuel pump have been inspected
