ABOUT TIME features a three-cabin, three-head interior arrangement which includes the master stateroom forward, guest cabins to the port and starboard quarter, a large and open main salon with galley port, and a navigation center to starboard.

MAIN SALON

The versatile Main Salon was configured to offer a commodious living space for the crew while also being capable of entertaining guests. To starboard the L-Shaped settee spans the length of the main salon and wraps around at the forward bulkhead. Inboard is a long settee which adds another three seats at the salon table, which in its full configuration can dine 10. The table itself can be configured either as a full or half-size dining table, lowered with the electric pedestals to convert to a cocktail table, or convert to a large berth with the included filler cushions when additional guest accommodations are required.

GALLEY

The galley aboard ABOUT TIME is certainly one of the best features of the yacht. Spanning the length of the main salon, the in-line style galley features an enormous amount of countertop and preparation space thanks to the inserts for the double basin sink and cooktop. Critical for any long-distance passage, there is more than ample storage for both dry goods and cold storage with the stainless steel Virtifrigo front load refrigerator, pull-out freezer drawer, and massive cabinets and overhead lockers. Cabinets are good and deep and the drawers each feature soft-close rollers and segmented compartments.

Features of the Hull and Deck

HULL

The Jeanneau 54 is constructed with a solid laminate hull using vinylester resins to help protect the yacht from blistering and osmosis damage. The bulkheads are bonded both to the hull and deck with a high-performance polyurethane adhesive and incorporated into the monolithic structure of the structural grid which too is laminated and bonded to the hull for rigidity and stiffness.

The yacht has a high-aspect semi-balanced rudder with a shoal draft keel that draws a mere 5’ 9”, an ideal choice for sailing the shallow waters of the Bahamas.
