Ron, originally, from Michigan grew up sailing with his family in Southern California. He holds a 500-TON USCG license and has had his hands in many different aspects of the Yachting industry, from sail making and sail training to charter operations and shipyards. During his 25 years as a Yacht Captain Ron spent many years running yachts and chartering with his wife Monica thru out Europe, North America and the Caribbean. He has extensive technical knowledge of all types of yachts including their design and construction. Ron has completed many major refits and been involved in new build projects and recently some major superyacht design projects. Most recently Ron was the USA operations manager for an Australian shipyard before joining David Walters Yachts.

Recently replaced sails, wind screen and many other items. The hull and deck is hand-laid, cored fiberglass implemented by a team of artisans who paid close attention to details. Ganymede is currently berthed in Isla Mujeres Mexico. Gateway to the Western Caribbean ready to sail into adventure.

Hull Stratified polyester, reinforced with GRP, applied in successive layers in a mould. Some areas of the hull are constructed using the sandwich technique a core of light expanded vinyl polychloride between layers of GRP Deck One piece construction with sandwich used on flat surfaces to give a lighter but highly resistant superstructure. Teak covered decks.
Hull and deck are assembled to give a perfect, strong and watertight bond.
