Join Us for the 2019 Hylas Rendezvous at St. Michaels

The weekend is right around the corner and we are all very excited to have you join us for the 2nd Annual Hylas Rendezvous! We have 9 Hylas Yachts and their owners confirmed for the weekends festivities, the team from Hylas Yachts, and several members from my team at David Walters Yachts all ready to rally! As you are all aware, we are expecting a bit of weather to kick up on Friday as a result of Hurricane Dorian. We’ve been watching the reports closely and expect rather dreary weather and some pretty good gusts out of the NW on Friday. Due to the weather, we are canceling the group sail and dinner on Friday. All other activities for the weekend will remain as planned. That said, if you do happen to find yourself in St. Michaels on Friday night, there will be a group gathered at Foxy’s and you’re welcome to join us!
Here's the final plan for the weekend:
Friday (Unofficial), September 6th
5 PM Dinner at Foxy’s with the Hylas and David Walters Crew
Saturday, September 7th
12 PM – Lunch served aboard the new Hylas M44 at St. Michaels Marina – Slip 10 (right by the pool!)
2 PM – Guided tour of the Chesapeake Maritime Museum
5 PM – Maryland themed Dinner and cocktail social at Foxy’s Harbor Bar and Grill
Sunday, September 8th
9 AM – Breakfast and mimosas served aboard the new Hylas M44 at St. Michaels Marina – Slip 10 (right by the pool!)
12 PM – Group sail from St. Michaels to Annapolis (Rally point to be announced Saturday night)
There is a good anchorage right at the entrance to St. Michaels harbor. Early arrival on Saturday is encouraged as it can fill up quickly on the weekends! There is a public dinghy dock located between Foxy’s and the St. Michaels Marina (by the fuel dock). Water taxi service also runs throughout the anchorage. They can be hailed on CH 71. Slips at St. Michaels marina are $4.25 / ft. with a 2-night minimum stay (Friday & Saturday). After making your RSVP with Amanda, please contact the marina reservation line at (410) 745-2400. Be sure ask for Anne and to let her know you are with the Hylas/David Walters Yachts group! A credit card will be required to reserve your slip. Free cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your reservation. For attendees who choose to anchor out, there is a suitable anchorage a short distance from the marina with water taxi service available. Space in the anchorage is limited.
