Event Recap: Hylas Fleet Review

The January Hylas Yachts Fleet Review was a perfect way to kick off 2021!

On Friday, January 22, we held an open house at the Hylas Yachts sales and service office in Dania Beach, Florida. The Hylas Yachts team, including COO Peggy Huang and Field Marketing Director David Crafa, sales director Kevin Wensley, and program director Christian Pschorr and the team at David Walters Yachts, were joined by Peter Grimm Jr from North Sails. Our guests had the chance to tour the Hylas H48' S/Y Novinsea', as well as the H57' Vanishing Point' and the new HYLAS H60 model.

The event marked the first time the award-winning Hylas H60, designed by German Frers, sailed alongside the Bill Dixon-designed Hylas H57, the newest addition to the Hylas sailing fleet. The Hylas H57' Vanishing Point', owned by David Crafa & Peggy Huang of Hylas Yachts, was the first to be commissioned on the East Coast. After Friday's open house on the docks, we had a fun-filled evening barbeque outside on our patio overlooking the water at Harbour Towne Marina.

Saturday's weather conditions were perfect for sailing, with 8-10 knots of breeze and calm seas. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water off the coast of South Florida. Prospective buyers got the chance to sail aboard the H60 & H57 and feel the brilliance of the two designs.

North Sails x Hylas Yachts partnership:

The latest 3Di technology from North Sails enhances the performance of the Hylas designs, which was apparent both upwind and downwind. Guests got the unique opportunity to sail with a professional sailmaker- Peter Grimm, Jr., and experience firsthand the nuances of sail design and technology that make a significant impact on a yacht's overall performance.

We were extremely pleased to partner with Hylas Yachts & North Sails to make this event a success, and we sincerely thank everyone who attended!
