With 20 years of sailing experience, I bring dedication and passion to both the sea and my professional life. I currently own a 2023 Bluewater 56, custom-built to our specifications, sailing it to South Carolina every winter and throughout New England in the summer, currently docked in Stonington, Connecticut. My sailing journey began on Sunfish and Laser boats in Connecticut and has progressed through vessels including a 1976 Hinckley Sou'West 50, a Jeanneau 42 Sun Odyssey, and an O'Day 34.

Before founding Route 63 Automotive, I served as a police officer for 20 years in the City of Danbury, Connecticut. During my tenure, I was a D.A.R.E. instructor, advanced accident investigator, and Spanish translator, earning three decorations for meritorious service, unit citation, and life-saving. I maintain strong relationships with many former colleagues, several of whom are now customers of Route 63 Automotive.

As the founder and owner of Route 63 Automotive, my wife and I have built a multi-million dollar company over the past decade. We operate from a 10,000 sqft facility that includes a showroom, office space, and a 6,000 sqft shop, employing a dedicated team of five. This business is our primary source of income and reflects our commitment, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit.

My passion for racing spans decades, beginning with drag racing in the 1980s, progressing to NASCAR where I competed in street stock, late model, pro stock, Tour modified, and Busch Grand National North series. Since 2001, I have been active in SCCA and vintage road racing, winning over 100 races, earning three championships, and setting track records at four tracks. I have competed in iconic cars including a Datsun 240Z, 1965 Corvette, 1950 Jaguar XK120, and my current Penske/Donohue AMC Sunoco Lola T330 F5000 formula car.

In addition to these pursuits, I am a certified scuba diver, an ordained minister, and currently studying for my commercial captain’s license. I love life, people, and most of all, God and my family. I am truly blessed—married for 33 years with three children and five grandchildren.
