With 20 years of sailing experience, I bring a yacht owner’s perspective, an entrepreneur’s attention to detail, and a lifelong commitment to service to helping clients buy and sell boats.

My sailing journey began aboard Sunfish and Lasers in Connecticut and grew to include an O’Day 34, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42, and a 1976 Hinckley Sou’West 50. Today, my wife and I own a 2023 Bluewater 56, custom-built to our specifications. Based in Stonington, Connecticut, we cruise throughout New England during the summer and sail south to South Carolina for the winter. These experiences have given me a practical appreciation for the decisions that shape yacht ownership—from selecting the right design and equipment to understanding maintenance, comfort, and cruising requirements.

Before entering business, I served for 20 years as a police officer in Danbury, Connecticut. My responsibilities included serving as a D.A.R.E. instructor, advanced accident investigator, and Spanish translator. I received decorations for meritorious service, a unit citation, and lifesaving. That career reinforced the values I bring to every client relationship: integrity, clear communication, careful listening, and attention to detail.

My wife and I subsequently founded Route 63 Automotive, building it over the past decade into a successful business with a dedicated team. As a business owner, I understand the importance of earning trust, following through on commitments, and helping customers make informed decisions about significant purchases.

My enthusiasm for performance and craftsmanship also extends to motorsports. Over decades of competition—from NASCAR to SCCA and vintage road racing—I have earned more than 100 race wins, three championships, and track records at four circuits. Racing has strengthened my appreciation for preparation, mechanical precision, and the details that distinguish exceptional machines.

Away from business and boating, I am a certified scuba diver, an ordained minister, and am studying toward my commercial captain’s license. Faith and family remain at the center of my life. My wife and I have been married for 33 years and are blessed with three children and five grandchildren.
