"Griffin" is arguably the nicest 72 Marlow Explorer on the market. Her owner's dedication and attention to detail has touched every inch of this boat, and it shows. Over $1 million spent in improvements over the last 5 years; please see full listing under the "Other details" below. Beyond her spacious four staterooms, three heads (also crew quarters and head), she's been constantly updated over the last seven years. This boat is so functional she has allowed a cruising couple to easily, and very comfortably, operate her from the Chesapeake Bay, to Florida and the Bahamas. She is consistently used and is currently cruising South Florida and the Bahamas, Winter 2025.
The Command Bridge of the 72E-CB is an impressive spot to both run the boat, in any condition, with 360 degree views and a serious electronics package for cruising. The sea chest is at the forward end of the engine room and provides sea water to the engines, generator, air-conditioning, and all the other items on the yacht that need sea water for cooling. Each item has its own shut-off valve for servicing. The two plumbed together 1,500 gallon fuel tanks are just in front of the forward engine room bulkhead.
