Engines:

• The yacht was built for the United States with the upgraded 1400 HP MAN engines vs. 1360 HP engines.
• The extra 40 hp per engine (80 hp total) plus the noticeably higher torque and displacement give the 1,400 hp setup: Slightly stronger acceleration and quicker planing response, especially when loaded (full fuel, tender in the garage, passengers, gear—common on a 63-footer).

  Better ability to maintain high speeds in real-world conditions (chop, head seas, or when the hull has some bottom growth). Independent tests of 1,360 hp boats achieved ~39 knots top speed under load (vs. the advertised 40–40.5 knots in ideal/light-ship conditions); 1,400 hp listings routinely claim a solid 40+ knots.
