THE MYTH is a 2025 ARKHAUS Villa 50 — a 50-foot solar-electric elevated catamaran that reimagines luxury waterfront living.

Designed by renowned Dutch waterborne architect Waterstudio NL the Villa 50 shares its lineage with the internationally recognized Arkup 75 — famously featured on Netflix’s  The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals and showcased in global media and music productions. The Villa 50 represents the next evolution of that celebrated platform: more agile, more efficient, and purpose-built for modern lifestyle flexibility.

Constructed on composite fiberglass catamaran hulls, the Villa 50 delivers both architectural presence and true marine capability. A hydraulic elevation system allows the yacht to lift completely out of the water, creating a remarkably stable, land-like environment while reducing hull exposure and maintenance demands.

Approximately one year old and professionally maintained, this Villa 50 has been bottom painted to minimize marine buildup and is available immediately — avoiding the current production timeline. 

Currently configured for hospitality use, the vessel can be easily converted into a private 1-bedroom, 1-bath residence with full shower. An outdoor shower is already integrated for seamless indoor-outdoor living.

Design & Living Experience

When the hydraulic terraces extend, the beam transforms from 18 feet to an impressive 34 feet, unveiling more than 1,000 square feet of open-air deck space. The result is a floating estate that feels expansive, balanced, and architecturally intentional.

The lower interior deck provides 615 square feet of climate-controlled living space, while the rooftop deck above offers an additional 615 square feet for elevated entertaining.

The upper deck is fully appointed as a true summer lounge environment, featuring a built-in summer kitchen complete with an electric grill, sink, and icemaker. Whether hosting sunset dinners or daytime gatherings, this elevated space becomes a natural focal point of the vessel.

With electric roll-down enclosures, the upper deck can be partially shielded from wind, rain, or sun — dramatically extending usability across seasons and weather conditions.

Solar-Electric Propulsion & Engineering

The Villa 50 is engineered for refined, near-silent performance. A 12kW rooftop solar array feeds a 75kWh lithium battery bank (approximately one Tesla equivalent), powering a  50kW electric azimuthing pod drive and 10kW bow thruster for precise maneuverability.

Cruising comfortably at 5 knots, with a top speed of 6 knots, the experience is smooth and deliberate — ideal for Intracoastal repositioning or marina-to-marina movement. Generator and shore power systems are also integrated for operational flexibility. At 4 knots, the solar panels are generating enough power to completely offset the propulsion consumption.

The hydraulic self-lifting system elevates the vessel fully above the waterline, creating exceptional stability and minimizing marine growth.

Premium Upgrades & Enhancements

The Villa 50 benefits from substantial upgrades beyond standard configuration.

A full-length fendering system allows safe rafting alongside other vessels. An 8-zone Sonos audio system — featuring 14 speakers and dual subwoofers — delivers immersive sound throughout the yacht, wirelessly controlled via the Sonos app.

Security is handled by a 4-camera Lorex wireless monitoring system. Mechanical space cooling has been upgraded, complemented by a 3-zone air conditioning system for consistent interior comfort.

Connectivity is seamless via an onboard Verizon Wi-Fi router, providing reliable internet access throughout most Intracoastal waterways.
