This 2007 Posillipo Technema 85 is offered as a distressed sale in Greece, an opportunity for a buyer with vision to take on a refit project from a motivated owner. 

She is a fast and elegant 24-metre motor yacht with four guest cabins, crew quarters and a flybridge made for entertaining. She is sold as seen and needs a comprehensive refit, including new teak decking, so a survey is recommended. 

Currently in drydock, she is open to viewings and inspection.

Interior

The light satin elm interior gives the saloon a calm, warm feel, with leather sofas, a TV and bar corner and a dining area for eight. A separate galley has a double entrance and Miele appliances. The helm station has an integrated chart table, with a crew dinette next to it. Below, four guest cabins, each with its own bathroom, include a full-beam master amidships, a forward VIP, a triple and a twin. Crew quarters forward have a private entrance and en-suite facilities.

Exterior

Her decks will need to be re-laid in teak as part of the refit, which gives a new owner the chance to restore them to the standard they choose. The flybridge is the highlight, with a barbecue, bar, minibar and sink, and the cockpit has two minibars. A retractable hydraulic gangway makes boarding easy, and a bimini top gives shade on the flybridge.

Technical

Twin MTU 16V2000 M91 engines (2,030hp each) give her a 26-knot cruise and a 30-knot top speed. She is fitted with two Kohler 26 kW generators, a 100,000 BTU reverse-cycle air conditioning system, a Simrad electronics package, a satellite TV system and a 150 L/h watermaker. A Lofrans windlass and two aft winches handle anchoring and mooring, and she carries approx. 9,500L of fuel and 1,000L of fresh water. The machinery needs attention, and her condition should be checked at survey.

• 2025: 
  • FULL REPAINT: superstructure and hull as per images.  
  • WATER MAKER: The water purification system underwent a general maintenance check and the membrane filter was replaced.

  • ENGINES: maintenance of the engines on the port and starboard sides of the ship oil change, filter change.
  • GENERATOR: general maintenance performed, belt, freshwater pump, and elbow were replaced in the flag assembly.
  • ELECTRONICS: SB display Repair and its main processor (Mpu29 ) plus the analog and binary input boards (AIB1 & BIB1).
• 2019/2020: 
  • New TV Sat system and decoders, electronic equipment replacement with Simrad model, new tender & outboard engine, Epirb & emergency equipment renewal, windlass overhauling and chain replacement, fresh water pumps/beilge pumps/wx pumps overhauling. 
  • ENGINES: heat exchangers, seawater pumps, starters & alternators, seacocks, exhausts overhauling and new exhaust pipes – generators overhauling (exhausts, injectors, seawater & fresh water pumps and bearings).
• 2017/2018: bushes replacement and propellers balancing;
• 2016/2017: hull full stripping, main deck furniture’s 3M white wrapping e new parquet floor.
