Designed for extended cruising, the Gran Turismo 44 combines generous space, power, and speed while maintaining a size that makes it easy to maneuver. 

The aft cockpit serves as a vast entertainment area, eliminating the need to go below deck for anything other than using the head. To port, there is a large U-shaped settee with an expandable table for dining. The entire cockpit area, including the aft sun pad, lifts electrically to reveal garage space for an eight-foot tender.

 However, visibility from the center helm position is limited due to the wide mullions and sturdy overhead. The electric sunroof over the helm is expansive. Below deck, the well-lit galley is located to port, and a comfortable salon settee is situated to starboard. A stand-up refrigerator is located near the steps, and a curved counter leads forward to a double sink, a two-burner stove, and an optional microwave. The master stateroom, which includes an en suite head and shower, is situated aft. An equally spacious guest stateroom is located forward and features an island berth with access to a second head. 

The 44 incorporates Beneteau’s Air-Step hull design, which includes forward-facing steps and two air intakes, allowing the boat to ride on a cushion of air. Powered by Volvo 370hp D6 diesel stern drives, this yacht can cruise at speeds of 24-26 knots, reaching low 30s at top speed.
