NEW SOLARIS 55 – Crafted Around Your Sailing Lifestyle
The Solaris 55 represents the culmination of more than fifty years of yacht-building excellence. Designed for discerning sailors who seek uncompromising quality, exhilarating performance and luxurious comfort, she embodies everything that has made Solaris one of the world's most respected names in premium sailing yachts.
Available for new construction, the Solaris 55 offers owners the opportunity to configure their yacht through Solaris Yachts' extensive semi-custom programme. Combining elegant Italian design, exceptional sailing performance and sophisticated onboard comfort, she is equally suited to long-distance bluewater cruising, Mediterranean island hopping and extended living aboard.
Designed by renowned naval architect Javier Soto Acebal, the Solaris 55 combines powerful performance with timeless elegance. At 16.90 metres in length and with a generous beam of 5.00 metres, she offers remarkable interior volume while maintaining the responsive sailing characteristics and refined helm feel for which Solaris yachts are renowned.
The modern hull design features pronounced chines, a powerful stern section and carefully optimised waterlines, delivering exceptional stability, impressive speed potential and precise control across a wide range of sailing conditions. Twin helm stations positioned far outboard provide excellent visibility under sail and during manoeuvring, while the clean deck layout and carefully engineered sail handling systems allow comfortable operation by a couple or short-handed crew.
The spacious cockpit is one of the defining features of the Solaris 55. Twin cockpit tables create an elegant social area while maintaining a clear central passage to the companionway and swim platform. Every detail has been carefully considered to combine comfort, functionality and safety, whether underway or at anchor.
A standout feature is the innovative folding transom. Seamlessly integrated into the yacht's elegant lines, it conceals a practical longitudinal tender garage while transforming into a generous bathing platform with integrated access to the sea. This intelligent solution maximises both functionality and onboard enjoyment without compromising aesthetics.
Below deck, the Solaris 55 offers an atmosphere of refined luxury and contemporary Italian design. Large hull windows and expansive companionway glazing flood the interior with natural light, creating a bright and welcoming environment throughout.
Owners can choose from carefully developed layout solutions, allowing the yacht to be optimised for family cruising, long-distance voyaging or owner-operated sailing. The owner's suite forward can be configured with alternative berth arrangements and is complemented by a spacious ensuite bathroom with separate shower. The elegant saloon can be specified with a large sofa arrangement or individual armchairs, while the L-shaped galley is designed to meet the practical requirements of extended cruising.
The aft guest cabins each feature private bathrooms with separate showers, providing exceptional comfort and privacy for family and guests. For owners planning longer voyages, the sail locker can be converted into a fully functional crew cabin with private bathroom facilities.
Built using Solaris' advanced composite construction techniques, including structural composite bulkheads bonded directly to hull and deck, the Solaris 55 combines outstanding strength, rigidity and safety with exceptional sailing performance. Every detail reflects the shipyard's commitment to engineering excellence, innovation and craftsmanship.
Solaris offers a comprehensive semi-custom specification programme, allowing owners to select from a wide range of layouts, wood finishes, upholstery, technical equipment, keel options and sail handling systems. This approach provides significant flexibility while maintaining the proven performance, quality and reliability for which Solaris yachts are internationally recognised.
Whether crossing oceans, exploring remote coastlines or enjoying relaxed weekends aboard with family and friends, the Solaris 55 delivers a level of refinement, comfort and sailing pleasure rarely found in her class.
