    DESCRIPTION:

"Hindsight" (ex Polar Bear) is the joint creation of naval architect Philippe Briand and interior designer Andrew Winch, built as Winch's own personal yacht. The partnership pairs Briand's modern hull – which incorporates a hard chine for increased speed, stability, and interior volume – with Winch's superyacht-level interior styling, elegant lines, and timeless proportions.

The design combines beautiful hull lines with a powerful sailing rig, a comfortable cockpit, and a gorgeous interior. Hindsight carries all the gear needed for serious off-the-grid sailing and world cruising, and with twin helms, push-button sail controls, and electric furling throughout, she is easy to handle short-handed or as a couple.

Hindsight's interior features four staterooms plus forward crew's quarters, and a state-of-the-art galley conveniently located to port just aft of the main salon. She is powered by a Volvo D4 diesel producing 180 horsepower for a cruising speed of 9+ knots, backed by a 17.5 kW Onan generator that runs every system aboard.

    Interior Accommodations and Layout

Hindsight's interior is Andrew Winch's vision brought to life – a thoughtful five-stateroom layout with dedicated crew's quarters forward, leather upholstery throughout, and finish quality well above the norm for a production flagship. Wooden sinks in the heads, subtle leather trim, and richly varnished tables and trim (12 coats) set the interior apart.

Beginning all the way forward is the crew's quarters with bunk beds, a shower, and a head, accessed through a watertight door in the starboard guest stateroom. Moving aft, twin guest staterooms with queen-sized beds and private baths flank the companionway, followed by the galley to port and the main salon. Continuing aft past the galley is a day head and a versatile twin-bunk cabin with access to the engine room, before arriving at the full-beam owner's suite aft.
