Hey folks, Captain Tom Hall bringing you another very nice, one-owner vessel that's located in a premium, transferable slip at Safe Harbor Sunroad Marina here in San Diego, CA.

Note: some of the photos are stock from Jeanneau - but they really show the great hull design and how she "takes a set" on her full-length chine.  The owners report that they regularly and comfortably sailed, for days at a time at 8 - 9 knots and saw a top speed of 12 knots.  This is all due to the powerful hull form that Phillipe Briand developed for his Volvo Ocean Racing boats and that has trickled down into these great sailing, performance cruising boats.

The very experienced owners conducted a long list of modifications and upgrades to prepare the vessel for extended offshore cruising and self-sufficiancy away from the marina.  Satori was just in the yard for fresh bottom paint and hull / deck buff and wax.  Her 110% jib went to the sail loft for a check-up and to replace some stitching on the UV cover.  She is clean, complete, and turn-key ready to go anywhere.

*House Batteries, four Victron 330ah lithium ion providing over 900ah of usable power.

*Victron Lynx smart BMS.

*Dual 3000w Victron Phoenix inverters, providing both 120v and 240v.

*Victron 30amp DC to DC charger for charging engine start battery from house bank.

*Victron 30amp DC to DC charger for charging bow thruster battery from house bank.

*Power levels, charging status, water and fuel tanks are displayed on Cerbo GX display.

*Bauer 170a alternator, charging controlled by BMS, also manual on/off switch to save fuel.

*Water heater has optional on/off electric switch, it can be run off house battery.

Sun Odyssey 440's high performance platform incorporates a full length, hard chined hull to promote fast cruising while minimizing heeling. The generous sail plan is easily handled by the inboard winches and lowered gooseneck height. Sailing this boat is an experience like none other. She is fast, powerful, and nimble on the wheel.

The 440 launched the proprietary Walk Around Decks, an incredible feature that has been incorporated in every successive design. This, combined with unobstructed side decks from bow to stern make movement on deck easier than ever before. The huge cockpit is perfect for entertaining guests, and the convertible cockpit lounge turns the aft eight feet of the boat into a gigantic sunpad!

The open concept interior is bathed in light, as the main salon features a multitude of windows and hatches. The central U-shaped galley is optimally placed for comfort while under way, centralizing the weight of the appliances for optimized sailing performance, as well as serving meals in the salon. In the 440, the nav station is particularly emphasized, elevating this feature into a coffee nook or home office.
