KIYI, the Tiara 50, had no expense spared from previous upgrades and servicing by Philbrooks Boat Yard in Sydney allowing the engine shafts to be oiled and prop speed applied to the pods. Her factory bottom paint had been sanded to the gel and five coats of new bottom paint had been applied. Seating areas were reupholstered with designer materials. Her hardwood floors were replaced, new macerating toilets were installed along with an overboard discharge system. The a/c and heating system was also replaced.

The Tiara 50 is powered by twin Volvo IPS propulsion systems in standard IPSII 800 or optional IPSII 950configurations. The salon and bridge deck with her 360 degree panoramic views open to the cockpit through sliding aft doors built with indoor/outdoor living in mind. Her Bow features concealed ground tackle and a through stem anchoring system which may be operated at the helm or adjacent wired remote control on the forward deck next to the locker. The salon features a single level deck from the cockpit forward to the bridge where a single step separates entertaining from the business of operating the vessel. One of the few designs that have not seen significant change will be the helm and dash featuring sensible ergonomic placement of controls and gauges leaving plenty of room for flush mounting electronics.
