Katie B is a Great Loop veteran and this beautiful liveaboard is ready to cruise the Loop again, the Caribbean, and anywhere a new owner is ready to explore!  She has a significant number of upgrades, spares, and equipment that make this boat remarkably self-sufficient.  
 

On Deck

Katie B carries a 2022 12' 6” Highfield RIB with center console with a Suzuki 30hp, electric start, EFI 4-stroke outboard. She is easily launched with an electric deck crane.

Her massive flybridge is accessed by steps from the boat deck and is unique in having two very large folding Bimini tops that shade the area, but they can be folded and nested against the aluminum radar arch for more sun. The arch handles all antennas, radar array, and KVH sat TV dome.  Plenty of seating with drop-down dining table for 6.

Large deck storage boxes aft of the pilothouse and forward of the Portuguese bridge give tons of storage for fenders, lines, power cords, etc. She has anodized aluminum handrails throughout to give easy, safe passage down her wide side decks.

Ground tackle includes two self-launching anchors (Delta plow and Fortress) on a bow pulpit with Maxwell 1500 dual chain windlass.  300' of all-chain rode on each side.

Pilothouse

Katie B features twin-touchscreen Garmin navigation electronics (GPSmap 8616xsv, Garmin Fantom 54 radar, Garmin AIS 800, ICOM M604 and M802 VHF, Simrad AP25 autopilot and handheld remote, Simrad FU25 tiller steering, ZF Mathers electronic engine controls, and a Vetus-Maxwell proportional bow thruster control.

Her helm seat is a top-of-the-line Pompanette Platinum Series with custom Duratouch upholstery.  An L-settee is behind the helm with chart table that unfolds to a dining table and drops to become large queen berth.

There are dogged pilothouse doors on both sides and the center windshield tilts open.

Watch Cabin

Directly behind the pilothouse on the upper level is the amazing "Watch Cabin".  Featuring a full-size 60" x 80" queen berth, chest of drawers, storage, and head with a vanity, this cabin features a bird's eye view of your anchorage or marina.

Saloon

Katie B’s saloon is more like a home living room with lots of room to relax. The U-settee features space for six or eight to sit comfortably to talk or watch the large flat screen TV. 

Galley

Katie B features the expanded "eat-in" galley layout with home-size spaces and home appliances.  She has a double sink, large microwave/convection oven, drawer-style dishwasher, 4-burner radiant cooktop, tons of storage, and a 23 c.f., double door refrigerator/freezer.

Her comfortable 6-person dinette also folds down to become a queen berth.  This is a galley setup that everyone will love.

Main Head

The large main head features a beautiful solid surface countertop and sink with a vanity, a HUGE shower, and an electric flush toilet.  A linen closet completes this space.

Master Stateroom

The GH47 features one of the best master staterooms afloat.  Center is an island, 60" x 80" queen bed.  Storage includes large twin hanging lockers with drawers and lift-up pillow/linen storage, huge drawer set under berth, and access to two underdeck "alleyways".

The master stateroom also includes full head with lighted vanity/sink and separate shower/head area, also with an electric flush toilet.

Utility Room

Directly across the companionway from the galley dinette is the utility room with separate, home-size washer and dryer, butcher block workbench, storage, and door access to engine room.

Also located in this useful space is the fuel polishing system, watermaker and generator start panels, full boat main electrical panel, switchable Racor filiters for main engines and genset, toolboxes, and electric gauges for tankage.

Engine Room

Accessed easily through a door in the utility room, or through a large, hinged, hatch in the saloon sole, the spacious engine room allows easy maintenance on main engines, generator, watermaker, inverter/battery banks, water heater, fresh water pumps, etc.  There is also Great Harbour's exclusive "tower-type" sea chest through which all incoming seawater flows. Seacocks on the sea chest mean no cleaning out messy sea strainers.  All seacocks are in one place and easy to access.

Cockpit

Katie B has a spacious cockpit for outdoor entertaining, with storage, flip down teak "bar" table, “flexi-teak” decking and eisenglass enclosures.
