Viking lo hizo muy bien con el 52 Convertible de primera generación, un yate de pesca deportiva sin concesiones y con credenciales impecables.
El rendimiento sólido y las comodidades de lujo hicieron que el Viking 52 Convertible original fuera el favorito de los entusiastas de la pesca deportiva y crucero. Con mucha autonomía, una manga ancha de 5,34m y un crucero de 30 nudos, el 52 se destacó de cualquier otro barco en el mercado. Su interior de tres camarotes y dos baños cuenta con un amplio salón con sofá en forma de L a babor, comedor a estribor, y un centro de entretenimiento incorporado. La cocina en forma de U es un modelo de practicidad para las familias marineras. Bajo cubiertas, el camarote principal en medio del barco tiene una cama de matrimonio, mientras que el camarote VIP de proa tiene una cama doble tipo isla. With plenty of fuel, a wide 17’5″ beam and honest 30-knot cruise, the 52 stood apart from anything else then on the market. Her three stateroom, two head interior features an expansive salon with L-shaped sofa to port, dinette to starboard, teak valences, and a built-in entertainment center. The U-shaped galley is a model of practicality for seagoing families. Below decks, the amidships master stateroom contains a walkaround queen berth while the VIP forward stateroom has an island berth. A companionway closet to starboard houses a washer/dryer. A space saving athwartship ladder leads to flybridge with Viking’s signature helm pod and single lever controls.
Fishing features include a 145 square foot cockpit with a built-in bait freezer, tackle and rigging center, and large fishbox under the cockpit sole.
