SUE CAROLYN  was designed and built for easy access to all decks via a custom built interior ELEVATOR, which provides access from the master en-suite to the sky lounge. Dual custom day  heads located in the sky lounge and on the main deck, as well as the master head have extra wide doors for easy access. There is a custom built exterior hydraulic WHEEL CHAIR LIFT that is currently being stored off the yacht, but is very easy to reinstall with a minimal amount of effort.

Entering SUE CAROLYN from the new aft teak deck through the extra wide electrically controlled stainless steel and glass doors, one sees what can only be described as an extremely luxurious comfortable main saloon.  The ability to see the full length of the interior of SUE CAROLYN, combined with extra large windows, port and starboard, and across the country galley, provides an amazing amount of natural light  

The magnificent cherry and burl woods are showcased by  the new carpet and makes one feel like you are right at home immediately.

To port there is an armchair, freestanding sofa and  leather recliner with coffee table. Forward of this seating area is a glass walled storage cabinet with additional storage below and can also be used as an art niche.  On the starboard side of the main saloon, as you enter through the doors, there’s immediately a glass fronted storage cabinet next to the main electrical panel  and the 55” TV on a lift that is stored behind cherry and burl doors.  Forward of the TV set one finds a granite topped bar with four chairs and an abundance of storage located below. There’s also a glass fronted storage cabinet above the refrigerator with a small freezer. A brand new wine chiller complements this bar area.  Definitely a good gathering spot for fun and laughs. Directly across from the granite top bar are double glass doors hiding the internal elevator. The elevator doors  blend in so well with your surroundings that one barely notices that it is indeed an elevator. Moving forward into the country Galley, we find a large Day head located to starboard. The Country Kitchen boasts an array of stainless steel appliances and enough storage to make SUE CAROLYN a wonderful cruising Yacht. All the way forward one finds a semicircular dinette with massive windows that stretch from the pilot house door located to starboard all the way around to the aft wall of the galley on the port  side.

To starboard there is a pilot house door for easy access to the bow. Taking the companion way down forward to the 4 owners and guest staterooms, one finds again the lovely cherry and burl woodwork. New carpet is in all the state rooms. But going forward past the laundry facility with a large washer and dryer, you enter the VIP en-suite. There is a central line queen berth with easy access to the storage beneath for your guests. Two Cedar lined hanging lockers, extra drawers, additional storage, dedicated air-conditioning controls, and brand new flatscreen TV will make your VIP guests wanting never to go home.  The en-suite head has a large shower stall with teak grating that has also been upgraded, storage cabinets, granite countertops, and like all the heads aboard, there is a Headhunter fixture.

Proceeding after along the corridor, one finds mirror twin state rooms located port and starboard.  These 2 twin staterooms enjoy a rather ingenious design. The two twin berths may be slid together to create one double berth much like one sees on a cruise ship. Each stateroom has a cedar lined hanging locked, Air-Conditioning controls, drawers, storage lockers, opening portlights and new flat screen TV'S.  As the newly installed STARLINK system provides unlimited data, you and your guests may power up as many electronic toys as is humanly possible.  Each of the en-suite heads have a good sized separate shower stall, medicine cabinets, storage and marble countertops.

The full beam master suite is located aft through a set of double doors.  Entering this quiet retreat there is a center line king berth with a tremendous amount of storage below. The 2 oversized stainless steel portlights which are hidden behind sliding Shoji screens provide a very lovely ambient light. The entire port side of this retreat has built in storage as well as the twin frosted glass doors for the elevator. On the starboard side of the stateroom, there is a very accommodating en-suite. The marble countertops and the marble bench seating in the large shower stall are quite nice. Opening port lights again are hidden behind Shoji screens. Large mirrored medicine cabinet with drawers and cabinets below the counter top are perfect for stashing all of one's toiletries and of course clean monogramed towels.

Entering the frosted glass elevator doors with the diamond design and cherry framework, one may head straight up to the sky lounge. The sky lounge will blow your socks off with regards to the 360 view of Mother Nature.  The visibility is incredible.  The Captain and Mate helm chairs are indeed raised to allow for even better visibility.  The Garmin electronics, engine gages, windlass controls, bow thruster controls, stabilizer controls etc. makes the helm console look like it should be in the cockpit of a 787. Under the helm there is an additional refrigerator. For ease of handing SUE CAROLYN, there are new controls and a new Yacht Controller allowing the Captain to be anywhere on deck to dock SUE CAROLYN after a wonderful day spent cruising with friends and family.

The day head on this level is another outstanding feature of this custom-built Hargrave yacht. A large entryway, granite countertop, storage and a Headhunter fixture is most convenient.  Passing through the electronically controlled glass door, you are on the upper aft deck complete with seating and a dining table. If the new 13'5" Custom built Gala tender has been launched via the new 1800 lb UMT davit, you have a dance floor for romance under the full moon. 

The lower aft deck has a long table perfect for seating 8 complete with new teak deck chairs and cushions. Soft overhead LED lighting can be employed in either white or blue mode, and just adds to the ambience. A new Sunshade has been installed behind the seating area for protection during the height of the day.  The wet bar also has another additional refrigerator. The beauty of the newly installed teak deck is undeniable. A perfect place to gather for morning coffee or to plan the day's excursions.  Starlink provides coverage here as well.  The custom boarding stairs have beautifully varnished rails and when not in use are stored in a dedicated locker on deck.

Engine Room

The Engine Room is spacious and has been double insulated for exceptional quiet. Completely detailed and painted in the past 2 months.

Powered by Caterpillar 3412 engines with 1400 horsepower each and a pair of 32 Kw Northern Lights, SUE CAROLYN is very well designed for tropical cruising.

SUE CAROLYN has Naiad stabilizers and HPS bow thruster. Redundancy has been built in, with hydraulic pumps on each engine, dual Racor filters, twin Fire Boy fire extinguisher systems, and three new separate CruiseAir chilled water A/C systems.

A new Water maker has been installed in the past 6 months.
