ASIA has just completed an extensive refit in 2023–2024, positioning her well ahead of her peers. Upgrades include a brand-new 12mm teak deck, all-new standing rigging, fresh white paint on mast and boom, and a fully serviced engine and generator. The hull and deck have been repainted, and the bottom was stripped and refinished with a new barrier coat and antifouling. Additional updates include a new propeller shaft, new stainless steel rubstrake, new nav and spreader lights, fresh bilge paint, new portlight frames, and new refrigeration.
