Cranchi Eco Trawler 53 Long Distance, the nice thing about travelling.

A modern interpretation of a classic boat. Its strong points are its versatility and the amount of room available, and the low fuel consumption, created to travel really large distances, without using a lot of fuel, and they make the trip – or just sailing – pleasant.

You can only be left speechless going on board by the amount of room available on all three decks. The usable area is fully exploited throughout the length and breadth of the boat.

On deck there are two nice, big cockpits (the one in the bows has a 250 x 235 cm sun lounger). Even the route from stern to bow is very comfortable, thanks to the gangways that are 40-cm wide and well protected. 

It’s the same story on the flybridge, which stretches right out to the stern (while leaving space for the tender) as well as two enormous sun areas, kitchen, dinette and obviously a steering area with great visibility.

Another area that has been done very well is the central saloon, on the main deck. It is 3.2 metres long, 4.5 metres wide and 1.95 metres high. The kitchen has a long, 180 centimetre counter, and is located close to the cockpit.

The side hold door which opens onto the port-side gangway is very useful and helps on-board movement. The forward-most area is also nice; it is a couple of steps up, with the dining area to the left and steering area to the right, with good views out.

Below decks there are three cabins. the VIP cabin in the bows and the owner’s in the stern. 

The owner’s cabin gets the most out of every available centimetre because of the extensive beam – so the bed is nice and big (202 x 162 cm), the significant headroom (192 cm at the door, 162 cm over the mattress) and is fitted with a walk-in cupboard and a large bathroom with separate shower. The bow cabin is also very welcoming, with its traditional V-shaped design and a lot of cupboard space.

It performs well both as a displacement hull and when planing.

Very comfortable, both in the helm and in the cabin: there are no vibrations and it is completely silent. The shape of the hull gives considerable stability, even at low speeds. Manoeuvrability is excellent, thanks to the joystick, despite the large surface exposed to the wind.
