"Freedom Rocks" is a Navigator 57 Rival model which "rivals" its own competition being the "classic" series by Navigator Yachts. Another fantastic design win by well regarded Jule Marshall and built in Perris, CA. Having built in excess of 4000 yachts, all in California, the Marshall family, California Yachts, and Navigator Yachts built a reputation of being American-sized yet sea-kindly hulls.
This boat is owned by only the second owner who bought it through us 12 years ago. I worked with the original owner through this build who was a very experienced yachtsman and they set her up well. Having built and sold in excess of 200 Navigator Yachts I am very familiar with this and all Navigator models.
As you board from the integral swim platform you'll notice the bait tank in the transom. It was fiberglassed in when the boat was built - special ordered from Offshore Labs. The transom door then brings you inside the cockpit. There are cockpit controls on the portside and a freezer forward to starboard.
You'll enter the salon through double wide high polished stainless steel roller bearing doors. A very expensive option referred to as "boat jewelry" - not necessary but pretty cool looking and a big upgrade over the power-coated aluminum doors that were standard.
The salon has an L-shaped sofa to starboard with a mullitfunction table and two barrel chairs to port.
Down a few stairs and you'll enter the owner's full-beam stateroom. The ensuite is just forward. The separation between the staterooms is welcomed when you have loud kids playing video games into the wee hours of the morning in the forward cabins. There is abundant hanging locker and drawer storage and a spacious vanity as well.
Foward of the salon, above the owner's stateroom is the pilothouse and galley. With the centerline helm this is the favored position to pilot this yacht. There is a side door that offers easy access to the foredeck and stairs aft to take you to the bridge deck.
Moving forward you go down the stairs to the guest staterooms and laundry. The VIP is forward with a hatch for fresh air. The bunks are to port and across the companion way is the guest head with a sizeable shower stall.
Easy to care for flooring is throughout.

The engine room of Navigator Yachts are arguably the best in their class. They are designed for ease of access for regular fluid checks as well as long-term servicing. By having the fuel tanks aft they have provided full access to the outboard side of the mains. The generator is easily serviced as well.
There are two entrances so you do not have to go outside the boat which may not be safe during a night passage. You can drop down through a machinery room forward of the engine room and there is another hatch in the cockpit. Additionally, there are two large overhead hatches which would be necessary to pull and engine or generator. This is virtually a Navigator exclusive feature. I don't know of any other boat of this size that offers this access without completely cutting open the salon floor and often having to remove wiring and plumbing as well. It was designed for the long-term owner while most boats are built around the ease of manufacturing.
The machinery room houses the water maker and batteries and is very well lighted as is the engine room.
