Kanani is a beautiful example of the popular J100 designed by Rod Johnstone as a club racer. She has just arrived from California and has been in approximately 75 club and regional races in the Channel Islands area. The owner sailed Kanani to a win in the 2024 Dan Wall Singlehanded Series.
The boat has a complete wardrobe of racing sails, as well as some older cruising sails, along with a carbon fiber mast and boom. She also has a carbon fiber spinnaker pole/whisker pole.
The rod rigging is from 2023, and all the running rigging has been upgraded as needed.
Kanani is powered by a 2-cylinder Yanmar diesel with 750 hours, an SD 25 saildrive, and a 2-blade folding prop.
The boat also features newer Raymarine electronics.
With her deep blue topsides and sparkling varnished toe rail, she would stand out in any yacht club fleet.
