Forward is a stateroom with an island double berth with storage and the bow thruster beneath the berth. The stateroom also has port and starboard cabinets and hanging lockers and a starboard aft door to a head compartment with stall shower. A vestibule follows and has a second door to the forward head compartment to starboard followed by steps to the pilothouse, and has a port side door to a stateroom with stacked single berths and a hanging locker. The pilothouse has a centerline helm station with a pedestal pilot seat, a port side chart table area followed by a side door and a raised “L” shaped settee with table, and the starboard side stairway to the forward accommodations followed by a side door, steps up to the flying bridge, and a steps leading aft to the main cabin. The main cabin has a port side “U” shaped galley followed by a breakfast bar with three stools and an “L” shaped settee with table. To starboard is a locker followed by a door to a day head compartment, and two arm chairs and an entertainment center. Steps forward in the galley lead down to the master stateroom which has an island double berth, bureaus, a hanging locker, a head compartment with stall shower, and an aft door to the engine compartment. The engine compartment contains the engines, fuel tanks, batteries, and generator. An aft door in the engine room opens to the lazarette. The interior is well finished in teak, stone, new carpet.
Exterior features
This Grand Alaskan 64 has a hard chined hull with a raked stem with anchor rollers, a large skeg keel, twin active stabilizer fins, twin inboard rudders, and a transom stern with integral stern platform with swim ladder. There are stainless steel capped rubrails on the hull sides and there are stainless steel handrails around the foredeck and boat deck. The deck layout is that of a pilothouse motoryacht with flying bridge. The foredeck has an anchor windlass forward, a flush hatch over a chain locker, and a skylight hatch over the forward accommodations. A Portuguese bridge follows and has a settee with storage below on its forward face, a starboard gate, and lockers on its aft face. The pilothouse follows and has large windows, port and starboard doors, two skylight hatches, and an overhanging top forming a visor. The main cabin follows and has large windows, an aft door to the aft deck, and the flying bridge and boat deck above. Side decks step down aft of the pilothouse and lead around the cabin to the aft deck, which has a forward door to the saloon, a port side sink counter with cabinets, an aft central settee, and a starboard side gate to the stern platform. The upper deck overhangs and shelters the side and aft decks and is supported by two fiberglass “wing” panels and one stainless steel post on each side. The flying bridge has a centerline helm station with two pedestal pilot seats, a starboard side companionway to the pilothouse, an aft “L” shaped settee, and a starboard side settee followed by a counter with refrigerator/icemaker. The boat deck is aft and has a port forward sink counter and cabinets with barbecue, and aft chocks for a tender and a davit crane.
