    Foredeck

The foredeck of the 61’ Viking is a large, highly customized area designed for versatile cruising and serious fishing. It accommodates tenders, toys, anchoring gear, and safety equipment in a well-organized, professional layout.

At center deck sits a 14.5’ Novurania RIB tender with helm console and 60 HP Yamaha four-cycle outboard engine (fuel-injected, with Dole-Fin). The tender is outfitted with a compass, ICOM M304 VHF radio, Jensen stereo with Sirius satellite radio, custom stainless steel arch with water ski/wakeboard tow, rod holders, navigation and DC area lights, and a standing stainless bimini top. The RIB mounts securely on polished stainless steel chalks and is tethered with custom adjustable deck tackle to stainless deck dead-eyes. A full custom cover, complete safety gear, and a complete tool kit are included.

To starboard, a custom stainless steel chalk system with matching tether points accommodates paddleboards, kayaks, or personal watercraft. To port, a custom-installed Brower lifting davit with hydraulic boom and electric cable haul is equipped with a polished stainless steel “snout jib,” providing extra reach to independently launch or retrieve a PWC while the tender remains in place.

At the bow, a custom snubnose pulpit with Maxwell electric windlass controls 300’ of anchor chain with an Ultra Plow anchor. A chain locker houses a spare Danforth anchor, extra lines, and a washdown system. The windlass can be controlled either from the helm or via foot switches on the foredeck.

For safety, the foredeck is surrounded by custom stainless steel rails and illuminated at night with a forward-mounted quartz light on the tower.

The standard bowsprit was removed by the current owner to allow the vessel to fit into her slip. The anchor roller has been custom modified to hinge vertical and lock in either position for travel.
