This is the one and only Riviera 47 with a hydraulic swim platform in the market today.
The Riviera 47 Flybridge Convertible is A marriage of sport fisher performance and the confort of a motor yacht . The new 47's hull offers a more aggressive entry to slice through seas and a larger reverse chine to knock aside spray and maintain stability in a wide range of conditions.
Hand-laid molded fiberglass hull, with cored decks and cabin top. Isophthalic gelcoat exterior; independent compartments throughout the hull. Vinylester resin in first layer. Watertight collision bulkhead forward. Hull has two coats of epoxy undercoat.
Every new model in Riviera's long and successful 25-year history of building Flybridge Convertible cruisers features refinements and innovations. It's the quiet revolution. Sleek dynamic and elegant but never ostentatious. The Riviera 47 Series II is a beautiful expression of our approach to innovation. It is a marriage of form and function, a development and refinement of an already very successful cruiser. Below the waterline, a revolution in design has been developed by one of the world's leading naval architects, Frank Mulder. He has created a running surface that delivers performance that can only be described as sensational. The most notable feature of this hull is two pockets housing the propeller shafts in the aft section to deliver superior forward thrust, resulting in higher top speed and better fuel economy.
With three staterooms and two heads, this is more than a fishing boat. The 47 is a convertible sport fisher that's ideal for the dedicated sportfishing guy, as well as for the guy who wants to cruise the island or just hang at anchor with family and friends.
With the additional flybridge accommodation, two double beds and a twin berth cabin on the accommodation deck and a dinette that could convert to yet another double, the 47 Enclosed was so much more than a convertible cruising/fishing yacht. She is capable of sleeping a large party comfortably overnight!
A large U-shape galley on the port side of the saloon ensured the party was also well fed, morning, noon and night. The chef was provided with a galley that included solid-surface benchtops, a two-burner electric cooktop, round stainless-steel sink and moldead drainer, under-bench convection microwave oven and drawer fridges.
The L-shape dinette opposite could comfortably accommodate five adults. An L-shaped lounge and ottoman aft of the galley faced an entertainment unit with flat-screen TV, sound system, glassware drawers and a bar fridge.
Cabin accommodation below decks included the master suite forward with a queen walk-around bed, lockers on either side and twin wardrobes as well as a flat-screen TV. An en suite bathroom was in the aft port quarter. The second stateroom amidships on the starboard side provided a double bed, plenty of storage and direct access to the second bathroom that included a second door in the corridor. The third cabin opposite was equipped with pullman-style bunks
