    DESCRIPTION:

Dufour 560 Grand Large – Privately Owned | Synergy Verified

This Dufour 560 Grand Large has remained under private ownership since delivery and has not been chartered. The yacht has been operated within an owner-managed maintenance program and shows evidence of regular care and servicing consistent with responsible private use.

She has completed our Synergy Verified – 15 Point Inspection, covering core structural elements, propulsion, onboard systems, and general condition. The inspection confirms the vessel is fundamentally sound, while also identifying a number of recommended maintenance items and improvements that should be addressed to support long-term reliability, performance consistency, and lifecycle preservation.

The yacht is best described as well maintained for her age, with meaningful service history, rather than presented as turnkey or “as-new.” A detailed inspection report and prioritised recommendations are available upon request, allowing prospective buyers to make informed decisions and plan future works accordingly.

Listed exclusively by Synergy Yacht Sales – Official Dufour Representatives in Greece for over 6 years. Our role is to provide transparent technical insight, realistic expectations, and structured guidance—before and after purchase.

Contact Synergy Yacht Sales to arrange a private viewing and review the full inspection findings.

About the Dufour 560 Grand Large

The Dufour 560 Grand Large is known for its contemporary design, balanced hull form, and cruising-focused deck layout. The hull geometry and ballast ratio support a capable sail plan, while features such as the fixed bowsprit and self-tacking arrangement reflect a design philosophy that prioritizes manageable performance and reduced crew workload.

Positioning Summary (Internal / Broker Use)

    •  Privately owned, non-charter history

    •  Structurally and mechanically sound per inspection

    •  Ongoing maintenance and improvement items identified

    •  Best suited to buyers seeking transparency and value, with scope to tailor future works

The Dufour 560 Grand Large flagship sets the highest standards when it comes to aesthetic appeal. The yacht exudes modern elegance, luxury and dynamism with its sweeping lines and uniquely DUFOUR top fixed hatch, with angled corners and horizontal sleek side windows, the GL 560 delivers a striking visual statement.

Very balanced hull shape, with powerful aft sections, low wetted surface area and a very effective set of appendages (keel & rudder). The high ballast ratio and increased form stability of the hull enables the boat to support a powerful sailplan without sacrificing cruising comfort and safety. The sail plan has been designed to guarantee maximum performance with minimum effort. The fixed bowsprit, the self tacking jib and the boom inclined forward are all examples of a sail plan that is derived from solo sailor open 60, where ease of handling in race mode are mandatory.
