    DESCRIPTION:

    MAINE SQUEEZE is a beautiful Hinckley Talaria 44 Motor Yacht, meticulously maintained and upgraded by Hinckley under our YachtCare program.

    Built among the final models of her series, MAINE SQUEEZE is equipped with a 3rd generation Hinckley JetStick (IQAN), an Onan generator, and a long history of flawless upkeep and upgrades.

     

    INTRODUCTION & LAYOUT:

    MAINE SQUEEZE is a very special Talaria 44 Motoryacht. At the time of her build she was the among the most customized T44’s built.

     

    She sleeps 5 in her comfortable interior with satin varnish trim which adds to the warm feeling throughout.

     

    The Pilothouse features two Stidd Helm seats and two L-shaped settees. The cockpit includes aft-facing settees, and a walk-thru transom door to the swim platform. Interior includes Galley, Dinette and Master cabin and separate Head and Shower areas.

    CONSTRUCTION: 

    • The Hull is Hinckley DualGuard™ Composite Construction- Kevlar®/E-glass outer skin. Aircraft grade end grain balsa below the waterline. Carbon fiber inner skin. Laminated with Vinylester resin using Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process(SCRIMP®).
    • The Deck is E-glass outer and inner skin with aircraft grade end grain balsa and closed cell foam core. Laminated with Vinylester resin using Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®).
    • The deck has a molded nonskid pattern

     

    Features include:

    • Marelon ball-valve seacocks below the water line, and Marelon thru-hulls above the water line. 
    • Stainless steel 316L drain plates on all scuppers.
    • 4’ Chafe strips at spring cleats.
    • Stainless steel half-round molding on rub rail.
    • Swim platform with teak inserts has a stainless steel swim ladder under the swim platform 
    • St. Croix dinghy davit system

     

    DECK:

    Pilothouse roof has a custom Hinckley mast (painted to match house) that supports anchor/steaming light, VHF antenna, and cockpit floodlight. Dual trumpet air horn.

     

    • LED Running lights.
    •  Remote control spotlight.

     

    A clever foredeck locker has a custom stainless steel anchor roller under a flush hatch that can be pivoted to deck launch position. Windlass control is from a rocker switch at helm station. The anchor can be pinned in place or pivoted back into the locker for a stowed away profile. 

    • A saltwater wash spigot is located adjacent the windlass
    • Tapered, varnished teak toe rail with Hinckley profile and varnished teak trim.
    • Handrails on the cabin trunk and pilothouse tops are varnished teak. 
    • (9) Lewmar aluminum hatches with smoke gray Lexan.
    • (6) Trunk cabin opening elliptical port lights with screens.
    • Stainless steel chocks and mooring cleats.
    • Stainless steel extended length bow rail
    • Wichard folding pad eyes & chafe strips for fender & dock lines – extended chafe strips port and  starboard.
    • Stainless steel deck scupper screens.

     

     

    COCKPIT:

    Entry to the boat cockpit is either from the side gunwale step or through the transom door. The centerline transom door has a stainless steel latch and is easily opened from either side.  

    • Teak decks with off white seams.
    • Varnished teak coamings
    • Two stowable tables with storage bags
    • Sunfly that erects on poles that deploy in aft rod holders
    • Removable teak boarding step for side deck entry, which can be used port or starboard.
    • Aft-facing Settees - Port and starboard with cushions that are covered in Kravet Bimini Riviera 
    • Forward facing seating are covered in Kravet Bimini Riviera
    • Cockpit coaming lights and courtesy lighting in cockpit walkway riser
    • Stamoid cockpit (mooring) cover fastens to pilothouse top and fastens with snaps to transom.
    • Cockpit shower has hot and cold mixing valve, located adjacent transom door. 
    • Glendinning Cable master shore cord reel system.
    • A cockpit sole hatch access to the stern lazarette for jet service and extra storage.

    PILOTHOUSE/SALON (Midship): 

    The Pilothouse has a Helm area with Stidd helm seat to starboard, and Stidd navigator’s seat to port. Both are covered in Dupione Bamboo Fabric.  L-shaped cushioned settees are aft port and starboard.  

     

    • Custom cherry drawers for access to storage under settees
    • Custom helm step box with hinged lid to access storage beneath step
    • Custom storage box located behind louvered cherry door outboard
    • Custom drawer system located in starboard side seat box
    • Varnished cherry table to port with Crown pedestal. 
    • Port and starboard Stidd chairs are covered in Ultraleather Buff with Ivory welting
    • Skysol pleated blinds for side windows, color is Chintz Topar
    • Stereo speakers are mounted in settee bases.
    • Engine room day hatch located in aft end of sole.
    • Storage locker located under forward end of sole.
    • Cherry woodwork finished in satin
    • Gloss varnished pilothouse sole.
    • Varnished cherry handrails in pilothouse, overhead port and starboard. 
    • Reverse-cycle air conditioning ducts port and starboard.

     

    The Pilothouse has 3-forward tempered glass fixed windows with intermittent windshield wipers and washers. The pilothouse sliding side windows for fresh air ventilation.  

    • White noise-absorbent overhead with varnish cherry battens.
    • Four overhead opening hatches for excellent ventilation.
    • Oceanaire shade/screen unit below each overhead hatch
    • Overhead recessed halogen lamps on dimmers provide lighting.

     

    Navigator/Passenger's Area  

     

    Outboard the passenger seat is a varnished cherry shelf with fiddle rail. The main DC/AC electrical breaker panel is under this shelf – the electrical panel has been hinged for easy access.

    • Galvanic isolator monitor panel.
    •  12-volt (cigarette style) and a 110-volt outlet in this area.
    • Air conditioner outlet vent

     

    HELM:

    Satin varnished cherry dash with Hinckley JetStick, Raymarine Axiom 12 color displays, engine controls and gauges, remote controls and a 14" teak rimmed steering wheel. Forward of the helm seat is a stainless steel footrest. Outboard of the helm seat cherry woodwork with edge fiddle continues houses the Hinckley JetStick®, a cup holder, and more.  A 12-volt outlet is near the key switches.

    INTERIOR ACCOMMODATIONS:

    From the Pilothouse forward down two-steps are the interior accommodations. There is a full Galley to port and a Dining Salon/settee opposite to starboard that converts to a double berth. The Head and separate Shower areas are forward to port and starboard. The Master Cabin is forward.

     

    MAIN CABIN/DINETTE LAYOUT:

    This cabin has a U-shaped Dinette/Salon to starboard and the Galley to port, both convenient to the pilothouse.  The cabin is finished in satin-varnished cherry, has white fabric overheads with cherry battens, and a teak and tulip sole.  

    • Step storage to helm.

    DINING AREA SETTEE: 

    U-shaped Dining Area is opposite the Galley to starboard and comfortably seats five. The cherry dining table with a padded cover is on a pedestal that allows the table to form a double berth. The drop down position includes a matching covered filler cushion. Outboard are louvered door cherry lockers, storage alcove, and stereo speakers. Opening portlight outboard with curtain.

     

    • Custom cherry locker at the aft end of the Settee provides additional storage
    • Stereo speakers are hidden behind cherry trim rings and Ecru cloth 
    • Custom inboard opening drawer under forward portion of settee
    • Varnished teak and tulip sole
    • Courtesy step light to galley
    • Two Frigast stainless steel reading lamps fore and aft and two overhead halogen light
    • Storage under seats
    • Overhead hatch with sky screen shade
    • Air conditioning vent.

     

    HEAD:

    Next, forward of the Galley and Dining Area, is the head with sink, vanity and marine toilet to port and separate shower stall to starboard.  There are opening ports and opening deck hatches in both the head and the shower. 

     

    TO PORT: 

    The head area has light cream-colored fiberglass sole with molded-in nonskid. The bulkheads in the head are satin varnished cherry.

    • Gloss Cherry countertop with polished stainless steel undermounted sink, Grohe fixtures, with hot & cold pressure water 
    • Vacuflush marine head is plumbed directly to the 43-gallon holding tank that can then be emptied via a deck fitting to a discharge facility or overboard through the Sealand macerator pump. Toilet base/valve assembly replaced 2024
    • Divided storage locker outboard
    • Recessed halogen lights overhead on dimmer
    • Double 110-volt outlet
    • Tankwatch 4 holding tank monitor
    • Overhead hatch with sky screen shade

     

    TO STARBOARD:

    Separate Shower with white Formica bulkheads and fiberglass sole with molded-in nonskid.

    • Divided storage/towel locker outboard over the teak shower seat. 
    • Stainless steel towel rack is mounted above the outboard locker.
    • Outlet for the reverse-cycle air conditioning system in the shower.
    • Removable hand held Grohe shower head.
    • 12-volt dome light

     

    MASTER STATEROOM (Forward Cabin):

    Forward, the solid cherry cabin door opens to a centerline Queen berth with Tempurpedic mattress. Storage includes double doors forward to the chain/rope locker, port and starboard hanging lockers, and outboard shelves and compartments. The forward cabin has a large overhead hatch and there are oval opening window ports, starboard and portside for plenty of extra light and ventilation. 

     

    • Storage drawers below bunk at foot.
    • Outboard, port and starboard of the centerline bunk are storage compartments with lift-up tops 
    • Hanging lockers port and starboard have louvered doors and cedar lining and dome lights. 
    • Two overhead dome lights as well as Frigast reading lamps mounted on the forward bulkhead.
    • (2) Hella fans on the aft bulkhead.
    • Overhead opening hatch with sky screen shade.
    • Air conditioning ducts port and starboard for either cooling or reverse-cycle heat. 
    • Private Ensuite head entrance with door to the master stateroom.

     

     

     

    ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: 

     

    ·     Two Lifeline 4D start batteries for main engines

    • Eight AGM GPL-4C batteries, rated at 440-amp/hr, for 24-volt and 12-volt service
      • Custom Bass 12-volt DC electrical circuit breaker panel - with volt and amp meter gauges.

    · Each engine has a 12vDC 80-amp alternator for charging start batteries

    · Each engine has a 24vDC 100-amp alternator for charging house batteries.
