Fort Lauderdale, FL
Marina’s passion for sailing developed at the University of Maryland, where she was an active member of the sailing team and participated in several well-known regattas in the Chesapeake Bay Area including the annual Governor’s Cup, Annapolis NOODS, and Eastport Yacht Club's Boomerang Regatta.
She officially relocated from Washington DC to the Sunshine state in July 2019. Before joining the David Walters Yachts team, Marina worked on yachts ranging in length from sixty feet to sixty meters as a deckhand and 2nd engineer. Besides sailing, she enjoys scuba diving, fishing, and running.
As the marketing coordinator for David Walters Yachts, she is excited to combine her diverse professional background with her passion for bluewater sailing and contribute to the continued growth and success of the company. Marina was selected by her colleagues to receive the David Walters Yachts 'Top Contributor' Award in 2020 for her efforts related to the company's marketing program.
When she's not sailing or working, she is likely at the beach, playing board games, or at one of her favorite taco places.
Marina graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in economics in 2016 and currently lives in Fort Lauderdale with her miniature Goldendoodle, Lincoln.
