Ritchard Findlay left behind his suit and career as a senior executive in Toronto and traded them for board shorts and flip-flops to pursue the dream of sailing full-time. For the past five years, Ritchard and his lovely wife have sailed through nearly every island of the Caribbean islands. Turquoise waters and blue skies beat Canadian winters anytime!

As an ocean sailor and multihull enthusiast, Ritchard has spent a lifetime tinkering with boats of all kinds. Having fallen in love with the lifestyle and recognizing his passion for helping fellow cruisers, Ritchard began a new career in yacht brokerage. With his new career, Ritchard combines his love of talking and tinkering with boats and his many years of client-focused management. He has developed a well-known and solid reputation as a hard-working and reliable professional. His approach; is timely communication, exceptional knowledge based on real-world experience, and a constant focus on treating people right and caring about his work.

As a full-time cruiser for many years, Ritchard deeply and personally understands the needs of the cruising sailor. He has seen what works and doesn't and can provide thoughtful advice to clients. Those looking to begin or continue a Caribbean cruising adventure can count on Ritchard as an enthusiastic and knowledgeable ally. Those looking to sell their vessel can depend on serious and focused marketing and a proactive effort to match their boat with the right buyer.

Ritchard Findlay heads up the David Walters Yachts Caribbean Office based out of the company's office on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten. Cruisers and customers are welcome to stop by the office for advice and pointers on local knowledge, assistance while on the island, or anything else they may need!
